The first exhibition in Switzerland where the selection of the works of my Swiss students has been presented together with my paintings, under the name Atelier Margot - School of Japanese Painting.
In addition, I have given a lecture about "SUMI-E – Insights into Japanese ink painting" on Friday, June 3, from 6 pm
I talked about the history of sumi-e and admit explanations about the different styles as well as the ones used materials. Moreover, I have provided the audience with the information about the philosophy of ink painting, the popular themes and important aspects of Japanese painting. At the end, I have made a demonstration of the most interesting techniquesin Japanese sumi-e painting.
